I wanted to update the driver of my Quadro FX Graphics Card in my Dell Precision M6400 running Windows 8 so I disabled the driver for the driver and installed the latest on nVidia's website.

Now... I can't see the driver in Device Manager at all, and currently, the "Microsoft Basic Display Driver" is showing when I go to desktop and do: Right Click -> Screen Resolution -> Advance Settings.

I want to get the graphics card enabled and running the latest driver. How do I get it back/recognised?

I didn't disable the "device". I uninstalled the driver. It's okay now, i've fixed the problem. I simply refreshed the Device Manager tree and it picked it graphics card up... Which is very strange but... meh.. Microsoft FTW.
