  1. the video card you mentioned is absolute rubbish. as for cpu depends on what you want to do with it but i would take an intel i5 over one any day of the week for my needs
  2. Hahaha, no.

First of all, 4GB is just a silly idea on a card that can barely use 2GB. It also adds NOTHING to the performance - the VRAM just stores the image before it's sent to the screen, so you only need more than 2GB for setups where the images are larger than 2GB in size, such as triple monitor setups while gaming.

That being said, what is this computer being used for?
  3. Thanks for the suggestions guys. What difference can i find between DDR3 and DDR5 in terms of performance? And what is the importance of number of CUDA cores and clock speed? I've found out some more options for myself.Asus NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 2 GB DDR3 Graphics Card. Asus NVIDIA GT610-SL-2GD3-L 2 GB DDR3 Graphics. These above cards are under $125. When i consider DDR5, price goes to $300. Gainward NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2 GB GDDR5 Graphics Card.
  4. A DDR5 card will be much faster. CUDA cores and clock speed don't matter nearly as much as the card itself. A 610, for example, is absolutely HORRIBLE.

Again, I repeat the question: what will this computer be used for? That determines what you should be buying.
  5. the gt 610 is a gt 520 rebadge which performs worse than intel hd 4000 graphics which arent that great to begin with

get at least a gtx 650 or a 7750/7770 if you want good performance
  6. Gaming and Photoshop Purposes
  7. yep. you will need at least a gtx 650 or 7750 to even get close to performance
