Looking to buy a new case after 5-7 years. lol my case is old as hell and I dont even know where the side panel is. I use to be a hard core gamer, but now I'm in school and need something to keep my computer cool for editing (TV production major). Willing to spend around $100 on a case. Not sure how the hard drives are today, but last I check a year ago they were expensive. If they are cheap I'd buy something around 500gb to a 1TB. I want an SSD for editing, but just don't know how much I'm going to need it at the moment.

This is the case I was looking at, but looking for suggestions as to what's best for my money. No need to look fancy.

My specs are

OS - Windows 7 64 bit
CPU -Phenom II X4 3.00ghz
RAM - 6gb ram
PSU - 650W
GPU XFX 4890
2 Hard drives = 210gb (LOL)

My whole rig is pretty old, but right now the weak points are the case and hard drive (especially for editing). With it heating up in LA my processors were at 50 during idle yesterday.

Oh and I have no idea what is considered quickest today in external hard drive transferring, but I need something fairly quick to give my professor and classmates raw footage. Some people are saying usb 3.0 is a lot faster than firewire 800 now?

If thats the case then this is the one?

Anyways, I hope to get some nice suggestions based on my needs. Thanks ahead of time to those who reply.

Really think RAM is a problem? I mean I'm not using after effects that offten and my footage never chokes under Adobe Premiere. I have about 2.6-2.8k, but I'm buying a new camera to shoot with over the summer. Which is the Panasonic Lumix GH3 and thats about 1.3k with 2 lenses adding 600-700 making my total already 2-2.1k. Leaving me with 500 or slightly more depending on if i buy sound equipment.
