Far cry 3 fps drops on gtx 690

Hi guys. My fps in far cry 3 drops when I'm in a village see a animal or a person. My fps is 60 with vsync and it drops to 48-53. I don't use MSAA and even if I remove Vsync it's the same. The weir thing it that i had the fps with my old gtx 560's in SLI. I tried changing the SLI values in Nvidia Inspector but it's still the same.
PC specs:
i7 2600
8gb ddr3 ram
EVGA gtx 690
palit gtx 560 2gb for physx(don't need it in FC3)
Asus P8P67 Pro motherboard
CM silent pro hybrid 1300w PSU

  1. What resolution? Your numbers sound about right for 2560x1600 If your running a lower resolution then it does sound like you have an issue.

1920x1080 and i have really low gpu usage something like 40-50%. I know it's the games fault but in case someone found a solution to this problem
  3. I have heard this a lot with SLI setups and Far Cry 3. Nvidia is tweaking the SLI profiles in the latest beta drivers. Maybe that will help out some.

Ok. Tried the new drivers and the game runs the same as before. I updated the game to 1.05 and tried dx9 and it still runs the same as before.
