First timer here, Is this right.

I was told by a friend to try using the AMD overdrive auto tune to see what i could get out of my phenom 2 965 BE, I recently bought a Hyper Evo 212 aswell.


So, I did it.



Does all this look fine? or does it need to run longer than the test did?

Use Prime95 small FFTs and run it for 12+ hours while monitoring temps from HWMonitor and use CPU-Z to see CPU and memory clocks. Wouldn't trust to any other software, 12hrs is minimum and you can't use the PC while the stress test is running. Just sleep or go to work or something.

Well this was just an test i assume as my temps have gone back to the original.


What im asking now is, How much should i expect to get out of this 965 BE with a Hyper Evo 212? Only has the one fan at the moment, However i do plan on push pulling and adding another fan to the top of my case.

So, would 4ghz be ok? Thats the most i wanna go too
