Cougar power supply

I've been looking at this cougar power supply and it seems promising. The problem is that there are only a handful of reviews, due to the fact that Cougar is not the most popular name in power supplies. Anyway I just wanted to know if it's worth buying, because some of Corsair's power supplies have quite a few problems and by the way I am looking for a 500 watt power supply.

Since the COUGAR RX Series is made by HEC Group they should be avoided.

The output cables tend to be on the short side. There is also the tendency to use a cheap sleeve bearing cooling fan. Some of the electrolytic capacitors are cheap low quality parts. These are just some of the signs of the cost cutting used in the design and manufacturing of Cougar PSUs.
