As of now, My build includes a three radiators, a 420, a 140, and a 120, I want to run all of them in push/pull and have one controller for the 420 and one for the 120/140- but after research I am confused about 'channels' and also how would you add two fans two the same channel?

Can someone clarify? Pictures would be an added bonus :)

Thanks!

Please please please - do the math before you buy a controller and burn it up.

Volts x Amps = Watts. Make sure you allow room for startup pull of fans too.
Example: a .18amp fan at 12v pulls 2.16watts, but can pull 2.7-3.1watts at startup. So on a 10watt channel no more than 2-3 fans

There seems to be some confusion for you on the pwm function. You don't use a splitter for pwm. The controller connects to the header, and pwm the controls fans thru controller. Or, you click the button on the front under a channel to put in manual mode. Read that description carefully.

Your case fans can be linked using splitters to control more than one per channel. Use a plain old 3pin splitter. No pwm splitter is ever used.

the 2nd post form top ( my first post ) has a link from amazon for sleeved cables ( pwm splitters )

Buzz: I posted this right after you made your comment and I agree he seems confused on that. pwm splitters will not be needed when they are connected to a fan controller that is pwm controlled ( though I have no experience with pwm fan controllers and did not know if the pwm signal worked as a pass through )

The link you posted is a 3pin fan splitter with +, -, and rpm sensor. Standard fan connection. A pwm headerhas 4 wires. A 3wire fan can be cconnected to a pwm header, and a pwm fan can be connected to a 3wire header.

Pwm control from mobo is designed for one device control. The sunbeam controller linked allows that one connection to be mimic for up to 6 channels. Pwm is based on voltage percentage control rathrr than rpm control. Pwm lets a microprocessor control based on sensor variables
