I originally had a crucial c300 64 gig ssd. I have since upgraded to a crucial m4 256gb. The problem is that the benchmarks are showing slower performance. It is in ahci mode, it is connected to the same sata 3 port. I dont get it. Please Help!! The results were the same with crystal disk mark.

How much free space do you have right now? I've Heard that SSD drives performance tend to decrease when they are full or almost full.

BTW: Are you running heavy tasks (antivirus, compression, etc..) on the backgroud while benchmarking your SSD.

Update your Chipset Drivers and MB bios.
