Do i need a sound card ?

I'm thinking of buying the corsair vengeance 1300 headset, but I currently have a GA-P67A-UD3-B3 motherboard. Do i need a soundcard with that motherboard ? If i need one, can anyone recommend a good one for around $60 ?

Seeing as that headset isn't exactly a high-end audiophile piece, you most likely wouldn't notice that much of a difference between on-board audio and what I presume would be an inexpensive sound card.

Could you benefit from one, Maybe.
Is it worth buying an expensive one, definitely not until you have a very good audio setup.

Most I recommend you get is a $30 Xonar sound card, and even thats mainly for the inbuilt headphone amp found in the XOnar DG and DGX cards.
