Hey all, looking to get a new mobo/cpu for my current computer running a gtx 660 with 8gb ram and a 450w psu. I run games at 1920x1080.
Was just wondering which would be the better option, I am not looking to overclock, just want something good to pair with my current gpu
1) Intel® Core i5 Quad Core Processor i5-3570 (3.4GHz) 6MB Cache with
ASUS P8H77-M: M-ATX, DDR3, USB 3.0, SATA 6.0Gb/s, CrossFireX
Or
2) AMD FX-6350 Six Core CPU (4.2/3.9GHZ - 8MB CACHE/AM3+) with
ASUS M5A97 R2.0(DDR3, USB3.0, 6Gb/s
The AMD to me looks best as it is cheaper, but would I be better spending more on the i5? How is the AMD compared to the i5?
I play games such as Battlefield 3. hopefully 4 when its released, Arma 2, hopefully 3. Rfactor, Sim City.
