So today i upgraded my old e2160 1.8GHz to a Core 2 Duo e6600 2.4GHz and i must say the difference is immediately noticeable in games. But i can't get past how loud the heatsink is now. One thing i should mention is that the cpu didn't come with a thermal compound and i saw some already applied on my heatsink so i just installed the processor and played far cry 3 for 30 mins. But the heatsink has been loud ever since i turned it back on. Am i missing anything?
