Hello. I just had a few questions about recording. I record with DxTory, and I can get 720p 30fps footage of most games right now while achieving 40-60fps while I record.

My questions are, what components of my computer does the recording use the most of?
Could a higher hard drive memory transfer speed give me better performance while recording?

i7-2600k 3.40GHx
8GB RAM
TX750w PSU
7870 IceQ
97MB/s 1TB hard drive
1920x1080 monitor (playing on 1920x1080)
I want to be able to achieve 60fps while recording, so what would I need to upgrade? Thanks.

No, a faster hard drive won't increase performance. Try overclocking your CPU a bit more, and you might want to think about crossfire. Also recording on 1920 x 1080 will decrease your fps.
