used the cable HDMI TO HDMI not ( HDMI to DVI )
used the internal graph intel 4000 HD
the sound from the mother board not out to the speakers in the screen ????

You may need a audio cable going from the PC audio jack to the Monitor. I don't believe that the Intel 4000HD does audio. Monitor speakers aren't exactly the greatest, you could pick up a cheap 2 or 2.1 speaker setup for $15 - $20 at a local store like walmart, target, staples, office max, office depot...(if you live in the US anyway); Best Buy, Radio Shack or other electronics store will have the cable you want. Dedicated cards from AMD and nVidia will output Audio thru HDMI.
