Here is a video I made last night after receiving an old GPU block that was brand new.

hope this helps somebody save some money....I just did it for fun and now I'm gonna put it on my old Q9450 an OC the heck outta it...however its just as easy to make it fit any socket type.

Looks like a good cheap effective solution. How good does it work on the Q9450 compared to the stock heatsink?

Well I'm currently waiting for the rest of some new parts to get here so I can use my old XSPC 5 1/4 bay res./pump combo on it because i'm gonna use an MCP655 and mini res now...I'll post results as soon as I have them....I'm guessing with its current OC at 3.2Ghz Its running hot with an 80mm after market cooler....that's under Prime...I'm guessing its going to be a huge temp drop.

Just finished up the new bracket...much cleaner look and would look great with some leds shining from below the plexi ! will post video with temps and overclock once I get it on the right mobo and built.
