I have run into a funny issue where when I re-boot my computer (soft or hard) my network connection tray icon has the yellow exclamation stating I have no network or internet connections. I have found disabling, then re-enabling the network adapter solves the issue temporarily and I am instantly reconnected to the network. This has been occurring within the last couple of months. While not a huge hindrance, it is still a bug I would like to try and resolve.

I have done all the troubleshooting I can and nothing comes up.

My LAN drivers are up to date.

I originally called my isp thinking it was something on their end. Found out it was the router having problems communicating with the modem. The modem was out of date so they replaced it anyway with a newer model. If I connect straight to the modem I do not have the issue.

I have flashed the latest firmware. I have model v1 with 1.0.03 firmware.

Even if I were the only one using the internet I like having the router for port forwarding when I have friends over for gaming sessions. however, I am not the only one using it. I have two computers hardwired, usually a printer as well (but currently is disconnected), and my girlfriend's laptop is wireless. Thank you in advance.

I have also narrowed it down to my computer. The other computer is a dell dimension 2400 running XP SP3, no issues. My girlfriends laptop is a Lenovo G780 also running Win 7 64bit, no issues.

This did not directly help. I switched to static ip and rebooted and no connection at all. Switched it back to DHCP and rebooted. This time connection upon reboot. We will see if this was just another temp fix. I will wait a few days before my next reboot and will update. Thanks for the advice.
