Both are good brands. Both are ddr3 1600 1.5v. Same exact price.
Are both on the recommended ram list for your Mobo? I'd let that decide. Other wise.. pick whatever one you think is cooler.

Only suggestion. Not sure what After market cooler your getting to pair with your 3570k but you might want to consider low profile ram.

^+1, especially the last point. You may wish to find some low-profile RAM to ensure fit with whatever cooler you use. As the recent article on low-power RAM showed, the differences in performance among the various timings of DDR3-1600 is too small to be worth any worry.

I have a Cooler Master V8 from an older build that I was just planning on reusing.

This is the motherboard that I had picked out:

Is there other RAM that you think I should consider besides these two?

Doesn't look like you would have conflictual issues with that cooler. But you can always do search on your mobos suggested ram list. Which can be found here http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z77%20Extreme6/ just look on the left side it says Memory Support List.

Ok, I'm not finding the model numbers for the RAM that I had posted before. I'll have to look through that list to see if there is something else that I like. Thanks for the resource.

Actually there is a lot of RAM that Newegg recommends with that motherboard that isn't listed in that list. Is it possible that the ones that I'm not finding in the list are the same RAM but are just packaged differently? I was hoping to use 2 x 16GB sticks and I don't see anything like that in the supported memory list. The specifications for the motherboard says that it supports a max of up to 32GB, but there isn't a single listing in the supported memory of RAM that is that high.

Edit: I take it back, there is one listing for 32GB of RAM, but I don't want that much.

You don't necessarily have to get something from that list. It's only recommended. basically what that list is, is the MOBO manufacturer garentees it will work with that Ram because they have tested it.

Back in the day (legacy systems and such) Ram used to be extremely picky and only VERY specific parts would work for certain mobos. Today... Typically as long as you have the right type (ddr3 etc) it will most likely work. It's just "recommended" to pick from that list. Feel free to pick other ram if you can't find your needs on the list. If it doesn't work, you can RMA it / return for another set anyways ;). But it 98.9% most likely will work.
