Hello all I have a ADVENT DT2410 Desktop PC with a foxconn h61mxl-k motherboard, i5-3330, 8GB memory. I have been wanting to upgrade the graphics card for quite some time now but have no idea if it is compatible with this motherboard, currently i have a GeForce GT 440 and understand that I will have to upgrade the power supply as well as it is currently only 300W max.

Any help would be massively appreciated, thank you.

What game do you play? What size of monitor do you have? If you play the games, then HD7750 (even HD 6670) DDR5 will be perfect for that. In the safty side you can get the 400W PSU, and you are good to go.

I have a 21.5 Samsung monitor and play games such as Skyrim, Arma 3 and have been wanting to play the newer Max Payne but I don't think my card could take it. I have been looking at the GTX 660 Ti but I am unsure if it is compatible with my motherboard.

It will fit with the MB, the MB has the pcie3.0 slot.

Then the case looks small ( your GT440 is ~8" something right?) because the 660ti is ~10" (mose of them), and you can open the case to make a measurement to see you have enough space to fit in the 660ti.

Also you need the good brand 450W PSU for the GPU.

There is enough space although it may be a bit tight, can you recommend a brand for the GPU?

Also is there a specific brand to update my memory?

For the RAM, look like you have 8GB RAM you don't need more until you do a lot of photo/video editing, because 8GB is more than enough for the game. Here is the review ( it is for sandy bridge system, but it will fit the intel system too)

For the GPU, maybe MSI N660 Ti PE 2GD5/OC because I don't have it and I used to have the CF HD4770 before I don't play the game now. But I add the links you can check it out.

Thanks for your help, just one more question. Is there a specific brand of PSU that I need in order to fit into my case? There is a CWT in there at the moment.

I don't know where do you shop and the budget, and I add the link for more info for

You need a 450W or 500W PSU, because sometime 500W or 550W has smae price as the 450W. And if you find the one you like, then try to find the professional review on it( no the user review). Usually the good brands like Corsair, XFX, antec, etc. is less expensive. SeaSonic or Enermax is expensive. Make sure get the one is at least 80 plus certified, active PFC.
