I'm currently using the onboard network adapter on my Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 motherboard. Although I've not had any issues with it, I recently got suggestions to get a dedicated network card. I heard that the Realtek onboard network adapters are rubbish, and could be hindering my internet connection. If so, would it be worth the $30 to add a network card?
Also, is it better to get a PCI-Express card than a standard PCI?
