amd vs intel gaming?

ill be playing minecraft the most aswell as planetside 2 so whats the difference in FPS between the in the games ill be playing
amd fx 4100 vs 4300 vs i3 3225 vs 3570k

AMD FX CPUs dont have Integrated GPUs in them like the Intel ones you have listed. So if you question is FPS, throw some dedicated Graphics cards in this thread and we can compare them. Imbedded GPU chips are(IMO) still taboo for "Gamers". If you want FPS, spend the money on a dedicated Graphics Card.

If you want a comperable CPUs with a GPU in it(aka: APU), AMDs A8 or A10 line of APUs would be more your route.

If your playing planet-side 2 you should definitely go with the 3570k and overclock it a little, but don't sacrifice on the GPU for a better processor if your tight on money or anything.

If you have any ideas of what GPU you are looking at getting, it would help us better help you in determining what you need. The 3570k is probably your best bet like others have said, don't skimp on the GPU. That game has beautiful graphics and it would be a shame not to enjoy them.

The FX8350 and FX8320 will compare far better with the i5-3570k. It's really not apples to apples in the CPUs you have listed above.

The FX8350 can be had for about $180-190 and the i5-3570k is usually between $210-230.

You can get the i5-3570k for 170 at a micro center if you live near one.
