I watch videos/TV online, from a variety of sites: Youtube, BBC iPlayer, streamallthis for example. It started off as a rare thing, but now it happens literally every several minutes in video. Suddenly it will just freeze for a couple of seconds and the noise will sounds really fuzzy, possibly repeating itself. For example it sounds kind of like "BRRRRRRRRR". After the 2-3 seconds it will just resume. But this is becoming a real issue happening every few minutes.

I tried plugging my HDMI cable back into my integrated graphics, still happens. So it isn't my graphics card. I have an i5 3570k and 2x4GB 1600Mhz Corsair Vengeance 9-9-9-24.

I think it happens mostly on fullscreen, I don't think it has happened out of fullscreen before. I also noticed it happen yesterday when playing Mafia II but only for under a second. I have been noticing some FPS lag at times when playing Mafia II and GTA IV which is strange for my setup, I have a GTX 670 MSI Power Edition.

Newest GPU drivers? Overheating GPU or CPU, Case air flow? How long did the system run stable before you started having the problems? Could your system be very dirty inside preventing proper airflow in the CPU, GPU cooling fins?

CPU temperature: 34C / 93F

Yes I have the latest Nvidia GPU drivers.

I have a Coolermaster Storm Enforcer, everything looks well spaced out inside and there's no indication of overheating. There are some very thin layers of dust on the odd part but no build-up and no interference. The fans all appear to be working fine.

I built this computer in the end of September 2012 and added the graphics card around late January 2013. After adding the GPU the computer's startup time became considerably longer.

I think this problem originated around late February or early March, only happening once in a 30-60 minute video.

Claims to be Tier 4. Do note though I've got the "Coolermaster GX 650W Bronze", the Bronze is better than the original one which wasn't bronze certified. My powersupply is alright, I don't entirely believe that it's the problem.

By the way this has minorly happened twice just now after playing GTA IV for a few minutes.

Edit: Wow this is happening like every 1-2 minutes now...

Oh God... my computer has now started in compatibility mode, the colors are all messed up and limited like a seriously old PC. What is wrong with my computer, virus or something?
