About 6 months after building my Win 7 PC I still hate this OS with a passion but I need to use it for my video editing and gaming needs. Anyway, I have an ASUS wireless card that has been working great for me for about 6 months and now all of a sudden I simply can not connect to my internet. It keeps connecting, says limited access, disconnecting, and repeating the process. The yellow "!" is on the wi-fi icon during this whole process pretty much. I have tried reseting my router/modem (I know nothing about networking) and I have also tried re-installing the drivers for the wi-fi card using the disc it came packaged with. Nothing seems to work and all I want to do is connect to the internet. Seriously Windows 7? It is honestly just one problem after another with this OS.

Please note this issue just started happening randomly today. I had my computer shut down for the weekend. I boot it back up and bam, no more internet.

Roll the driver back, MS might have done a adapter driver update and killed it. The same happens to my WMP600N when I use MS's latest Update driver.

I have this exact same problem and have asked experts/ trawled the web etc for over a year now.
Still no one seems to come up with a viable answer.
I basically had my PC brand new in November 2011. In January 2012 it updated one day and since then i cannot get on the Internet, Wifi or Wired.
It recognizes my network but has trouble connecting then after Troubleshooting it says "There may be a problem with your network adaper". the driver installed says it is up to date. I cannot 'roll back' this driver (the roll back tab is dimmed). I have reset the network card. I have tried everything people have suggested on the internet (pinging, winsock etc, bridging wifi and LAn ports, etc etc etc).
Still nothing! Considering this PC was literally a few months old (and not used that much when it was working) and i paid £400 for it this is disgraceful. And no-one from Microsoft seems to give a sh*t; they certainly aren't giving any answers that WORK anywhere on the internet!
