Hello i was wondering if anyone has ever replaced the stock cooler master V8 fan with a Xigmatek XAF-F1255? i choose the that fan mainly because of the massive amount of air it pushes and the fact it has white LED's well now that i look at at the cooler i'm not sure if the LED's on the fan will shine though the slots on the cooler.Does anybody have any experience with this or similar? i also need to know whats a good opinion for a rear exhaust fan, i was looking at noctua but i don't want to buy it and find something better thats cheaper. thanks all!

it should work fine, basically with a heatsink fan you're looking for a fan with good static pressure. I use a Cougar vortex on mine since the stock cpu fan bit the dust, and it keeps my cpu 2C cooler then the stock fan on my hyper 212. You probably aren't going to notice a 10C change but maybe 1-4C change in temps with a new fan.

thats all i'm looking for is a little change, i also ordered a noctua NF-F12 PWM for my corsair 600T for my rear exhaust fan, hopefully that will also keep it a little cooler and a little bit cleaner as well.
