All of my items are brand spanking new from the components to the windows and NO old files were used from my old hard drive

Build:

FX-4300
GTX 650 ti
8GB (2x4GB) Ram
970a-g46 MOBO
128GB SAMSUNG PRO SSD
Idle temps: 20-25C
This is not an internet problem.
ALL DRIVERS UPDATED

About 5 times an hour my computer would get these weird lag spikes where everything in the computer would stop working at once. The ONLY exception is if I'm already doing the process.

For example, If i'm gaming and the lag occurs, I will NOT get disconnected from my game (thank god) and I will still be able to play 100%

BUT if I'm browsing my web pages when this happen, NOTHING works. I can't click anything and nothing loads up. If I do happen to click, lets say the browser or my chat, the program will say 'Not responding'. Nothing will work until about 1 minute later when the lag stops.

Then all the programs will go back to normal.

I'm so clueless

With a new build make sure the mb bios has been updated. Want to make sure it has the newest CPU and ram code. With amd mb run Cpuz and make sure the mb set your ram speed up right. Ram info under the spd tab in Cpuz. Also make sure the Ssd firmware is up todate. Also run gpuz check that the mb is reading your gpu info. The last part would be a power supply that under load not holding the atx spec or is sending ac ripples to the mb. Try hardware monitor and watch your ps output.

I don't know if it is a solution. I had frequently "Driver power state failure" in Windows 8 with Windows 8 enabled on the mobo. Corrected by changing S3 by S1 in the ACPI setting of the mobo.

What DRAM are you using, with 8 GB and a 4300, especially if running 1600 or up sticks, the MC might drag with multiple Windows can increase the CPU/NB voltage + 0.06 or so and may well help....If sticks ARE 1600 or better, post the model along with DRAM and CPU/NB voltages
