hay,
i use the Intel core i7 3770K at the moment with the MSI Z77A-GD65 GAMING motherboard. Now i'm looking for a good CPU cooler which is also a bit silence and i also want it to be black or black/red colors. any ideee's ?

(some model i have my eye on:thermaltake Frio (but makes a lot of noise), Corsair Hydro Series H90)

Depending, if you want extreme overclocking (4.5GHz+) or just really good and quiet Get Corsair H80i or probably H100, If you want to save money and still have a good OC potential, Get A cooler master hyper212x army (slightly better version of 212evo)

Yeah all in one water cooling is the way to go if you want something cool and quiet. Corsair, Thermaltake, Coolermaster, Zalman are companies that are close to each other in performance.Of course if you don't plan to overclock anything in a crazy speed you can take something with a small radiator but if you are one big bloody overclocker then you will need a big radiator. Try to avoid big fans because they are noisy as hell, i had a big typhoon pro from thermaltake and it was like a helicopter taking off from my backyard, cool but noisy.

Thanks for the input already. I'm not planning to OC it in any way.
The Corsair H80i and Corsair H100i are indeed both nice black and have a cool looking RBG leds wich would fit nice in ;).

No OC? If that I would personally go with the Hyper 212x army (and save some money), but that if i'm 100% sure no oc. But if you want to change ur mind in the future and want extremely cool temps for a CPU, i'd go with water cooling.
But if $ isn't a problem just get a decent water cooler.
