Hi Everyone,
I turned on my pc last night and I suspect my graphics card may be dead. I power on the PC, and nothing at all is output to the monitors.
Graphics card: ATI 100-505606 FirePro V4800 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Workstation Video Card
P/N 102CO200322 000001
Motherboard: ASUS M4A87TD EVO AM3 AMD 870 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
Anything I can try or test out?
Thanks,
Brian

■ both monitors continue to display the bouncing "cable not connected" box.
■ The fan on the graphics card is spinning at what sounds like its maximum speed.
■ The system does not seem to be responsive to front panel buttons (reset, power) whatsoever.
■ Same symptoms on startup with no monitors connected.
■ Same with monitors plugged into different graphics card ports
■ Only one time (i think within the first few power cycles of discovering problem), did the GC fan not spin at full speed. Still no monitor output, though.
■ I tried pulling out the GC and visually inspecting it, nothing immediately apparent. Not significantly dusty, either. (blew it out with canned air)
■ I tried putting it in the MB's other PCIe port, same behavior
■ MB does not have any monitor outputs
