Hi, I have just bought a gaming pc, it came with no operating system or anything like that. I can turn it on just fine but nothing appears on the monitor, I have tested the monitor and it works fine. This is the PC I have bought http://www.freshtechsolutions.co.uk/intel-ivy-bridge-i5...

Well you can download a Linux OS and use that computer today.
You can also buy a Microsoft OS and use that.
Looks good.

Well that would be exactly right, no operating system, nothing comes up.

Or do you mean even the BIOS screen does not come up? If you don't even have the BIOS screen showing up, contact the support for the system you bought.

Buy an operating system like Windows 7 or 8.
Put the disc in the DVD drive.
press F2 or Del or whatever to go to BIOS.
Change the settings so as to boot from DVD Drive.
Exit BIOS and follow on screen instructions to install the OS.

And you are all done. Don't forget to install drivers, AV Suite and all the necessary stuff.
