Is the Radeon 7770 good for 1360x768 gaming?

Title pretty much, i will be pairing it up with an Intel dual core e5700 3ghz and
4gb ram (2x2 gb) ddr3 at 1333mhz Kingston

Im aiming to play at ultra settings games like Skyrim, Total war saga, Crysis(123), Battlefield 3, Metro 2033/Last light among others. Will the 7770 do the job or am i aiming to high?

The HD7770 will do a good job at your resolution. Your CPU may hold you back more than the graphics card will. If you think you might want something a little stronger (especially if you are considering a monitor upgrade), check out the GTX650Ti, especially the Boost edition.

It should do well at that resolution but as has been said, the CPU is going to be a restriction.
Also consider the faster, if slightly more expensive GTX650Ti.
And lay off the AA, neither card handles this feature very well, a combination of a limited memory and narrow 128 bit interface is the culprit.

If you can save up some money after buying this gpu, then I would suggest you to upgrade to a Intel Core 2 Quad since they also use LGA 775 socket and will be fine with your motherboard.
That old school Pentium dual core will hold you back in most of the games especially if you're planning to play gta IV and other new games which make use of cpus too

I am aware of the CPU limiting me in some games. I want to upgrade it aswell but most likely i wont be doing it in 2013.
About the GTX 650Ti, it was considering as a 2nd option. i could probably get that one instead if i feel like spending a few more $.

Also regarding cpu focused games like Tomb raider and Gta IV will i still notice a huge jump on perfomance even if my cpu is not that good? I currently have an ati 5450 compared to the amd 7770 or the gtx 650ti im planning to buy, its a pretty big difference as far as i know.

yes your system will be fine and graphic card will be easily able to handle these games on that resolutions .but i recommend u to overclock your cpu around 15-20% cause games like battlefield 3 and crysis 3 are mostly cpu bounded which means your fps will mostly depend on cpu and after than on your gpu .go with this card cause anything above this card will definately bottlenecked by your system .and if you compromise with some settings like AA etc.on that resolution then a radeon hd 7750 will be best suitable with your system and will give its 100% on your rig (before overclocking).and if we talk about 7770 it will give you around 85-90% (after overclocking).

good luck choice is all yours .

The best thing you can do is grab a radeon 7750 and spend some money on buying a decent core 2 quad.
And for 7750, you can easily overclock it in future if you want some boost in performance.
Upgrading to a 7750 from a 5450 won't go waste, trust me that card won't disappoint you in latest games.
