Hello, I'm going to be receiving a 5.1 headset with mic soon, and I was wondering if it may get interferience on my Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 mobo as previously I connected a USB wireless adapter to it and it couldn't connect, but would connect if I used the cradle with the wire leading to the mobo. Is there any way to prevent this, or do I just need to buy a sound card?

Only to know for sure is to test it and see if you get interference it does happen with integrated sound chips.
No way of knowing for sure unless you test it.
Also what could be a option is to connect your headset to your keyboard if that is possible.
Got a USB and 2 audio jacks on mine gaming keyboard, perhaps if you do as well this could be a option.

When you receive your headset test out your current options and see if it works.
Give it a day or 2 and then decide if a sound card would be a good idea.

I think that's probably the best option, worst case scenario I may have to wait a couple days for a soundcard. Though never know, perhaps integrated graphics won't disappoint.
