Okay, this is really weird and I couldn't find a solution so far.

Ever since I bought a second monitor (some ancient el-cheapo for 10 bucks on ebay), I have this weird issue where my mouse cursor always gets stuck on the right side of the screen for a 2-3 seconds and I hear some kind of Windows audio alert before it gets back to normal.
It happens everywhere, on the desktop, in fullscreen applications (read: games) and in windowed mode.

This is totally aggravating. The best part is, it now happens even if the second monitor is physically disconnected...

Any ideas? :p

Cheers

Tried a different mouse or made sure it is not loose?

Okay, I feel a bit dumb now.

Looks like my mouse just gave up the ghost. Strange coincidence that it started to act up at about the same time I bought this monitor, and it was always crapping out on the right edge of the screen (second monitor is on the right) so I thought it might be a monitor problem.

This post is now offically in the wrong forum section and should be deleted :D

Thanks for the answer by the way, it's good to be reminded that the simple solutions are often the best.

Cheers

EDIT: it's a Logitech G400, and after some quick google-fu I learned that these often have defective wiring which causes the exact same problem I've described.
