I am looking for a cheap cpu cooler that would be an upgrade over the stock one I have. The primary concern is NOISE. It must be reasonably quiet. I have looked on newegg but don't really know if those budget coolers would do any better than the stock one. The max budget for this is $20...

The case is the Rosewill RANGER-M - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Probably have to suggest this little guy. It's like a mini 212+ Very highly rated and only $20.

i have that one, a good chice, in my case it puts my phenom ii 555 unlock and OC (a little one) under the 55°C almost all the time

there is the vortex, which loocks "cooler" and is smaller but i think the performance could be very similar

i think is in offer now, but is more expensive

Ok. And this will for sure fit in the case I have?

Yes I made sure to check the dimensions of both your case and the cooler. You are good to go.

I just picked this micro-atx case up today. It is cheaper than the one you want and it can fit 120mm fans! That means you can add an (single rad) closed loop cooler in your setup. I'm planning to add an FX-6300-50 when I find the right MB. AM3+ right now is lacking in that micro-ATX category though.

I don't like my cases to be super flashy anyway. Maybe that is main reason it appeals to me so much. I've searched Newegg all the time and that is the only (micro-atx) case that really caught my eye. It was $55 with $5 shipping. $40 after promo and free shipping made it an must buy today. I hope you find what your looking for.
