I have 3 routers, all are wireless, and I have two networks. Network1 and Network2, I have 2 routers right beside each other, Network1, (Cisco DPC3825) my main network, has WEP encryption, 26 hex. My 2nd router (Linksys WRT54G, not sure which model) is connected from the WAN port to the first router, this one has DD-WRT, this one host Network2, and has WPA2 Personal. Lastly, my 3rd router is downstairs in my room, and it is connected to my first router, the Cisco DPC3825, this one is a Netgear WGR614v10, by WDS, when I disconnect my laptop from all networks, and plug it into the Netgear, I get 19.50 Mbps roughly, but when I connect to my Linksys, I only get 5 Mbps, for all routers I get the same upload, 2.50 - 3.00 Mbps. I also have my Xbox 360 connected through Ethernet to the Netgear. The thing is, my Xbox 360 disconnects and lags horribly. It never used to do this when I didn't have that Linksys and it was connected through my laptop using ICS. That was when my laptop was connected to the Netgear, which was connected to the Cisco through the WAN like the Linksys is currently. So my question is, why does my Xbox disconnect/lag when my laptop doesn't (My laptop is normally connected to the Linksys wirelessly)? And why do I only get 5 Mbps on the Linksys? Thank you in advance.
