I bought the Hyper 212 Evo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103099 to replace my current CPU fan, seeing as the stock fan isn't very good and I've been having heating issues, so there's that. I know how to mount the fan and everything, but after watching a video on how to mount the fan, the guy in the video opened up the side of his case where it showed the back of his motherboard, and there were 4 screw holes and everything seemed all dandy for him, but I opened mine up, and I'm just attaching a picture because it's hard to explain.

the hyper 212 is a great cooler, but it can be interesting to install.

Your motherboard already has a support plane on the back side for the previous cooler, which is why you don't' see the mounting holes. If you look in the corners of that large rectangular black piece you will see what looks like a nut. Find the screws on the corresponding side of your system and take them out.

Once thats been removed you should see standard mounting screws beneath the plate.

Thank you SO much! I was stressing over that a bit, and also realized a bit late that I forgot to include my build in the post, but you didn't need that because you are the mighty wizard and I am the simple mortal who you have decided, in your greatness to help. Thankyou thankyou.
