Hi, I recently started my first build using the above-mentioned mobo, obtained in a package deal from Newegg. It came with a Cooler Master HAF 912 case, a Cooler Master 650W PSU, an AMD 3.8GHz cpu, a 1 TB West-something HDD and 8GB RAM. I finished the build off with an ASUS disc drive and an ASUS 7870 HD video card.
I recently hooked everything up, and I'm getting some weird results. The power switch won't activate, but the video card LEDs and the MOBO are showing green. I changed to the Reset Switch and got .5 seconds worth of power flow, the fans spinning, and it stopped. A reset/unplug of the psu gave repeat results, but no repeats during the same plug-ins.
I was wondering if the MOBO was damaged, or if I might have another problem? Any tips or advice would be highly appreciated.
