When ever I try launching firefox or google chrome my monitor starts flashing on and off about every 3 seconds. Internet explorer works fine though which is strange. Also if I try to launch any game my monitor blacks out and stays blacked out until my computer just shuts itself off.

I just completed my new build last night. I downloaded all windows updates and drivers for my mb and graphics card etc. Here are my current specs:
Motherboard: Intel Gigabyte B75M-HD3
CPU: i3 3225 3.30GHz
RAM: 8GB
Graphics: Radeon 6700
PSU: 600W
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

If you need any other info let me know. I know this is a graphics card issue because it does not do this when I am connected directly to the MB. The graphics card power is plugged in and the fan spins, I know this card works too because it was on my old computer and ran just fine. My old motherboard was AMD though. Not quite sure if a radeon 6700 has compatibility issues on this intel board. If you guys have any clue what might be wrong I would greatly appreciate any input.. Thank you!

AMD GPUs work just fine with Intel CPUs and motherboards. IE has GPU acceleration disabled by default, Chrome and Firefox have GPU acceleration turned on typically. Your GPU seems to be having problems when you put a load on it eg. GPU accelerated web content or games. I would suggest that you make sure all power connections to the graphics card are secure, and that your power supply is adequate for your card. A really crappy 600 Watt that can't actually deliver 600 Watts might not be enough for a 6700 series card. It could also be AMD broke something with one of their newer drivers, try looking for an older driver revision for your graphics card and see if that helps.
