Hey guys, I am thinking of building my own gaming desktop. It would be my first attempt at anything remotely similiar so I am browsing for what I THINK are good peices of hardware to run games like World of Warcraft on ultra settings and still get 50+ FPS.

I have decided on a couple things so far and I'm also still wondering what else I need to get to be able to put it all together, press the on button and for it to start right up without any problems.

Anyways, heres what I have chosen so far, please feel free to suggest better options with more bang for the buck if you have them.

Computer Case - Will need a power supply which would be compatible.

So the most obvious thing I'd like to ask is, will all the parts I have chosen so far actually fit in the case and work with eachother?
And also, what am I missing which is a must, and what are your recommendations to make this gaming rig last and continue performing my favorite games.
THANKS ALL!

i think coolermaster haf 912 or nzxt tempest 210 are pretty much at 54$ on newegg and will do a better job than the computer case which u have selected, as well as do you have already have gpu, psu and other parts salvaged from your previous build or you still need those.

I was looking to stay within the $1000 dollar range.
That doesnt include keyboard/mouse/monitor.

I just want a nice desktop that will be able to handle games and that will keep good performance for years.

Hey man I really appreciate all your help thus far. I had only chosen the AMD 965 because I read in a couple different forums/webpages that the AMD is a better processor for gaming, compared to the Intel.

I also found a different case I wanted and I did edit the post but, my favorite color is green so I'd love to find a green/greenish themed case to enjoy. I found this but again, I dont know if all the other parts YOU listed would fit into this case. So maybe the case you linked aswell is the best? http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146079&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwordsCA&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwordsCA-_-pla-_-Computer+Cases-_-N82E16811146079
