what difference does it make for a mobo to have a higher fsb or hypertransport than another one?
does it influence gaming ?

FSB x Multiplier = CPU frequency. FSB x RAM speed = RAM frequency. It influences EVERYTHING. As far as gaming, these days almost all of the work is done by the video card. So while FSB has an influence on performance, probably not as much as you might think.
