I am thinking of buying this cheap mobo for a linux box. My main components are as follows:
1. 1TB Western Digital Green Desktop SATA Hard Drive - OEM;
2. SAMSUNG 4GB 1333MHz (PC3-10600) DDR3 CL9 SODIMM MEMORY;
3. AMD ADX450WFGMBOX Athlon II X3 450 Triple-Core Processor (3.20 GHz, 1.5MB Cache, Socket AM3, 95W, 3 Year Warranty, Retail Boxed) .
This mobo has IDE interface and I have an IDE DVD ROM.
Has anybody used it with any Linux distro such as Ubunty, SUSE, Fedora etc. And if so - anything that I should be aware off?
I have build PCs before but haven't done one for more than 8 years. I have a spare PC case with ATX power supply (20/24 pins).

It should work just fine. Make sure your power supply has a 4 pin cpu connector (fairly standard for the last 6 years or so). Not a particularly powerful rig, but it should handle linux like a champ.
