ALRIGHT UPDATES, thanks for all who responded, but as of now, I am stuck between 2 systems.

I am planning to buy either one of this pre-built computers, and the $830 rig seems to be about the same level as the other one. Please, let me know which is more idle for gaming? Mainly playing for LoL, GTA IV, SC2, and hopefully BF3, etc. THANKS!

$1.1k

*No, I am not planning on building myself a computer*

I would go with the i5 system and just buy a smaller SSD separate. A lot of solid state drives come with disk cloning software now anyway, and you could grab something like a 120GB SSD for less than $100 in a lot of cases. That would make those systems nearly identical, but you'd save almost $200 in the process. Here's a Samsung 840 SSD (120GB) for $100: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147188 Samsung 840's are, in my opinion, some of the best SSD's out there, and as someone previously mentioned, a SSD as your OS/applications drive will give you a much 'snappier' feel in everything you do.
You can build better yourself.

But if you want someone else to build it for you, and provide you a warranty then you have to pay more - only you can decide if the amount extra is worth not having to build it yourself. Personally if I'm buying in bulk I buy prebuilt as building 40 low-power desktops for an office fit-out isn't fun, if I'm buying for myself / low volume, I build myself.

No you can build way better yourself. You don't need an i7 for gaming and that's kind of a weak video card for $1200. Plus what kills me about iBUYPOWER is that they include liquid cooling with locked CPUs and that's an absolute waste of that kind of cooling.

I understand that you don't need an i7 for gaming, and most pre-built computers usually go with lower video cards when it's easily upgradeable, and yes the cooling is unneeded. Here's a cheaper one, with better video card gtx 660 and an i5.

What are you guys thought about this one?

That second choice is a great gaming computer as well, afaik. Like ray said, we don't know the manufacturers of the parts, so hard to tell.

I just gotta say, I really like those NZXT Phantom cases, wish I could afford one (or my wife would let me get one :p )

If gaming is the main use for the computer the i5 one will do just as well for $300 less. The i7 because of the ssd will give you the feel of a faster computer and more capable computer. People on this are build your own type but if you are not going to these computers are fair value.
