for the love of god - i cannot get this motherboard to overclock my i7-3770k.
I increase the multiplier - but it does not chnage a thing?
Easytune6 causes me to re-install windows (everytime)!

Don't use easytune or any other auto-OC utility.

And what do you mean when you say it doesn't change a thing?

Thanks for replying.
Basically, if I increase the multiplier in the bios and/or increase the vcore voltage the bios acknowledges the changes - but when windows loads up or on reboot, the CPU is still at 3.5ghz with turbo to 3.9ghz.
The bios still says ,multiplier on say 41 and reports 4,100ghz but it does not translate to the system in windows.
Have got CPUz running and it says 3.7/3.8ghz on full load.

Did load easytune6 - overclocked (and worked) at 4.2ish, but when checking other settings/overclock system would not start and had to install win 7 64 bit all over again - did this twice!

System is now on fresh install of windows (no using easytune again)

I have overclocked cpu and GPu in the past (other systems) and thought this would be easy - but the settings I use make no difference whatsoever!

System is,
Ga z77 hd3
I7-3770k (definitely unlocked version - paid extra for it!)
M4 128 SSd
Gtx 670
750w psu

Problem solved!

The board cam with default Bios F2b - this has reduced functionality!!!!

Loaded previous version F1 - clocks like mad.

Thought it should be simple - it is - just increase multiplier - set x44 (on air) - super stable - no fuss - wow!

Many thanks for your support.
