How Do I Install Hyper 212 EVO?

I'm trying to insatall my coolermaster hyper 212 evo on my asus m5a99x evo r2.0 board but i am confused about how to install it properly. If you look to the right and left of the cpu socket on the motherboard there is two brackets that can be taken off. Am i meant to take them of or leave them on when install the hyper 212 evo on thia motherboard. I really appreciate some help

Thanks. I was in the process of building one of these today, and wasn't sure about removing the existing bracket and backplate.
You guys saved me a lot of time.
You'd think they'd mention that somewhere in the installation instructions.
