PSU SATA connector doesnt fit the HDD ?

I just bought Corsair CX 500W PSU earlier today, so I started connecting the cables, all went fine until I reached the HDD, the connector just simply wouldnt fit, I think it's too wide ? I can push one end in but the other won't fit, what am I supposed to do ?

    You are doing something wrong. Make sure you are not trying to plug it in upside down. Try taking the hard drive out of the case so you can see what you are doing better. The connector is keyed and will only fit one way.
  2. I had so much trouble getting one on, I swear it didn't fit either, just make sure it is completely lined up. I did not ever remove it after finally getting it in lol.
  3. SATA connections are "L" shaped. The power and data are right next to each other.
    The short leg of the "L" on both meet in the middle.
