Say I want to use reliable 1TB HDD's, and I want to mirror them. But 1TB isn't enough. So could I have four HDD's - two spanned into a "2TB" HDD, and then mirror them with the other two?

Also, what use is a "dual boot environment" when there are things like MedV and AppV?

Thanks. These might be covered in the stickied FAQ, but maybe I'm just too much of a noob to be able to pick out the right info. So sorry in advance.

Thank you.

I was reading about using two HDD's to create a "dual boot environment". I'm guessing for using legacy programs. But since you can use App V to handle that, is there any point in a dual boot environment. Or am I just not understanding it correctly?

you loose quite a bit of performance running a virtual environment so people get full speed by dual booting. Also a virtual environment needs more resources then the os would natively simply because its now running two (or more) operating systems at the same time.

Both of you guys' answers were good, and answered part of the question. Thently got "best answer" because he was first. I'd like to thank both of you for your answers, though.
