to extend wifi range, you will need to get a wifi repeater. google "wifi repeater" and you will discover the awesomeness of extending wifi.

have your friends tried connecting to your wifi or is the signal too weak?

My friends who live on 5th floor gets my WiFi as we are on the same side of the building but the one who lives opposite to their apartment (opposite door) doesnt as his apartment is on the other side of the same building.

ok understood. yeah i mean you could either just buy a new wifi repeater on amazon or newegg or whatever, or there's ways of turning an old wifi router into a repeater which there are tutorials on how to do that on google.

expanding wifi power is half science half art. just fickle around with the different channels. but if you want him to reach your signal, you're going to need a repeater. that's just how radio frequencies work.

or depending on how sneaky you are, you can run cat 5 cable through the walls and floors. you could dress up like ninjas but if you get caught you have a lot of explaining to do. and like you'd have to put the repeater in a safe location. if someone vandalizes it, the signal will break and boom goes the dynamite. i would personally just tell them to get their own internets.
