Newbie builder here.
Have Maximus V Extreme mobo that needs 1x4-Pin and 1x8-Pin for the CPU. I know to use half of a 4+4 from the PSU for the 4-Pin. Can I use both halves of 4+4 for the 8-Pin? Asking cuz it fits, but ALL of the shapes don't match up. Forgive double post in Systems forum...didn't know it should go here.
