Go for this, if you buy from a local market you may bargain it to a lower price. If you live in Mumbai, try Lamington Road.

WD is better for warranty purposes as Seagate warranty in India just pisses me off. Plus I am having bad experiences with my Seagate HDD. If you can increase your budget, go for 2 Tb, as that is more comparatively cheaper as far as the price to storage ratio goes.

That what I was thinking....
But I got the same model numbered WD'S Hdd for Rs. 3800 in Tradus....

I'm not sure bout their service as I have never order anything from online stores...

Yesterday I went to market for my gaming rig but dealer showed me a 1Tb hard for Rs. 3700... But I didn't remember the model number. So i'm bit confused...
Also the Hard Disk was in Somd Polythene type packet but was sealed...

Is that the Original Product.. I mean when u buy any HDD, r they given in Packets or some sort of Sealed Box...??

No no, he showed me Western Digital's hard, theres no doubt!!!
bt just I don't remember its Model Number, if I got a call from my dealer bout the graphic card n power supply price verification, I will ask him the model no, n then post the model no. here for good quality ceritication...
