At first my Xbox was connected through wireless connection, and worked great with no problems for a year. Then after that every time the Xbox was turned off my WiFi went down. I tried port forwarding and that did not fix it. i tried connecting Xbox with Ethernet cable, and still every time without fail my WiFi crashes. I have no clue what could cause this...... any ideas?

Yes DHCP is enabled. The the only things we have to connect is 2 smart phones, laptop, sometimes our blurays, and Xbox...... so i cant imagine this router not able to handle that. never have any problems until Xbox is turned from on to off. my son isn't here all the time and as long as Xbox doesn't get turned on then off there are absolutely no problems.

Have you tried 'hardcoding' the XBox, or your other gear and NOT the Xbox with static IPs in the router (by MAC or whatever) and see if that solves it? I asked about DHCP cause the router might be propagating the same IP to 2 devices, which of course causes conflict, or that the DHCP pool is set for too few devices.
Only other thought I have is bandwidth priority, given to the Xbox causing others to die off. Might give that a look too on the router...
