Hello everyone.

I have a really bad problem with my laptop. (Acer Aspire 5536)
It all started when it have shown me that there was a missing file named WINMM.dll i could also get into safe mode but i couldnt use install or any program exept from cmd and other basics. Then i tryied to put my original windows xp installation disk but i couldn't boot the setup.exe beacouse of winmm.dll errors.
Then i tapped f8 to boot me the service screen, after that i selected aspire eRecovery which recovers the laptop to all the workstation settings.
In the middle of the installation the power got off.(note that that installation warned that it draws a lot of power and the recharger should be in the socket)
Now when i try to boot my laptop it shows me Windows Boot Manager and it says:
Windows failed to start.A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:
1.Insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer.(i downloaded windows vista from a site, burned the ISO to a dvd disc put it in the laptop, nothing happens just the windows boot manager.
If you do not have the disc contract etc etc.

File: \Windows\system\winload.exe

Status: 0xc000000e

Info : The selected entry could not be loaded beacause the application is missing or corrupt.

Thanks for your time.

EDIT:If you want to ask me something feel free to do it.

sorry for my bad english.

Two quick things - one - your English isn't bad, it's very good. Two - why are you using an XP disk?

When the original Vista installation complained about one missing file, it would have been netter to replace that file instead of reinstalling. If you are trying to install XP, have you checked that drivers are available for it?
