Corsair Hydro Series H100i fan component not plugged into it's board.

Hello;

I received my Corsair Hydro Series H100i and I can see that one of the fan plugs in the corsair unit is not plugged into the unit's board.

The result is that one of the fans won't run.

Here's a picture:

Would I be able to return this to the shop, even though I only realized the problem when I had installed the component?

Thats crap, you just bought it? Regardless I would absolutely return it. Either return/exchange it where you bought it from or contact Corsair. They are suppose to be VERY good with RMA's and customer service. They will probably replace that or just send you a brand new one for free. That's not right though, you need your fans working and besides that it can cause electrical problems down the road. Trust me I've had a faulty fan module one blow up on me and it did not end well.

Yup, I just bought it... The backplate is also loose (I had to use rubber washers to fix it). Alright, thank you very much for the help!

Next time, simply contact the manufacturer via customer support.

*Some companies will even do CROSS SHIPPING and send you the product immediately while waiting you to send yours in. Ask about that. The picture is pretty obvious so maybe they will do it if the policy exists. Probably will require your Credit Card number and they would bill if not sent in in 30 days.
