I was thinking of getting Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age II on Amazon now that they are on sale for a crazy low price and I have always wanted to play the games. I am wondering if I buy it and use the redeem code thingy, will I be able to play Dragon Age II on both windows and mac? I have both and would like to be able to play on both my machines. I know that Dragon Age II can be played on a mac and if you buy it from Origin you can play it on both and since you are getting a code that can be redeemed in origin I assume it would work but I just want to check. Also will saved games be able to transfer between machines or not? Any help is appreciated and here is the link to it on Amazon in case you want to check it out.

From what I can tell Origins is Windows only while DA II is Windows and Mac. I don't see any version of Origins for Mac at all.

I don't remember if DA II saves to the cloud or only locally. Even if it did save to the cloud I'm not sure if saves would be transferrable between platforms.

Origins is an amazing game with quite a bit of replay value. DA II was fun once. I say grab it. $10 for both is an amazing deal and Origins is the Ultimate Edition with all the DLC.

Not sure.
I'd say go ahead and buy it now, and then go to EA and investigate this, and if needed ASK THEM.

He's on the same MAC but has these games installed on OSX and on Windows so it's basically identical to a Windows PC and a Mac.

SAVE GAMES:
The above guy says he can transfer them. Ideally you'd want the CLOUD to handle that. If it can't, find your SAVE GAME folder and COPY/PASTE as needed. Here's where my SAVE GAME is for Dragon Age:
"C:\Users\Jeffrey\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\Characters"

Under this, I have a FOLDER with my characters name. Just copy the entire folder and paste it over the one needing updating (use a thumb drive I guess).
