cpu is not related to GPU in terms of compatibility. if you have AGP then you need an AGP gpu, pci-e if you have a pci-e gpu

yes it will, but your CPU+Motherboard will be your limiting factor - it will Bottleneck the 7850, but not as much as a dual core, Your PCIe slot is a version 1.0, the 7850 is version 3.0, but backward compatible and can be used on 2.0 and 1.0, i would consider upgrading the CPU+Mobo+ Ram combo to get the full performance of the 7850

I would personally recommend the 7850 because it is a bit faster and the bigger memory bus will help running AA.

They are both good though.

the memory speed of 650ti boost is 1502mhz and 1200mhz in 7850
the memory bus of 650ti boost is 192bit and 256bit in 7850
the actual shader performance of 650ti boost is 768 and 665.6 in 7850
these whole thing are bothering me, please help me to choose the right value of money....
